A Career That Revealed the Problem
Two decades inside healthcare systems exposed what nurses truly face, and what needed to change.
I earned my BSN in 2008 and later completed my MBA, merging deep clinical expertise with a strategic understanding of healthcare operations. Across 19+ years, I worked in surgical oncology, the emergency department, cardiac catheterization labs, and hospital leadership, environments where precision, trust, and systems level thinking are non negotiable.
Through every role, I saw the same pattern: nurses struggling with fragmented career pathways, unreliable staffing agencies, and a system that offered little transparency or support. That firsthand understanding became the foundation for MedicStaff, a platform built not from theory, but from lived experience inside the system it aims to improve.
Where the Expertise Was Built
High acuity specialties that shaped a systems level understanding of patient care, staffing challenges, and operational gaps.
- Surgical Unit, Oncology — Delivering specialized surgical care to oncology patients, managing complex post operative recovery and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Emergency Department — Providing rapid assessment, triage, and life saving interventions in one of healthcare's most demanding environments.
- Recovery & Endoscopy Unit — Managing post anesthesia recovery and patient monitoring following GI and endoscopic procedures.
- Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology — Supporting cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety in high stakes clinical settings.
From the Bedside to the Boardroom
Operational leadership roles that built the perspective needed to create a platform for the entire nursing workforce.
- House Supervisor — Overseeing hospital wide operations, managing staffing allocation, and ensuring patient flow during critical shifts.
- Hospital Operations — Driving quality improvement, operational efficiency, and cross departmental coordination.
- Patient Flow Coordination — Optimizing admission to discharge pathways, reducing bottlenecks, and improving patient outcomes.
Why MedicStaff Exists
A nurse first platform born from real experience, not theory.
After years inside the healthcare system, one thing became undeniable: nurses were underserved. They faced unclear career pathways, inconsistent agency experiences, limited access to trusted guidance, and a staffing industry that prioritized volume over quality.
MedicStaff was built to solve that problem. It is a purpose driven ecosystem where nurses connect with verified agencies, access trusted career advisors, and take control of their professional growth, all in one place. For agencies, it means access to qualified, motivated nurses. For advisors, it means the ability to offer meaningful, impactful services.
